August 19, 2017: the day where I published 5 Reasons To Watch: Please Tell Me! Galko-chan. The first ever Reasons to Anime review! It’s so weird to look back on. The format of my reviews wasn’t fully-realized yet and I have come a long way in terms of writing style. Of course, there is also the issue that author Kenya Suzuki was caught importing child pornography, which is… awkward.
I considered deleting or revising the review numerous times; as I have done with most of my old work. I never went through with it though. This whole project became such a big part of my life that it felt wrong to do away with the post that started it all.
That Reasons to Anime is turning 6 years old is something I want to celebrate. 6 is a special number for the site, after all. It’s the amount of reasons we list for the reviews that I feel most passionate about.
